ScotlandHi hi...I reckon the world cup is a conspiracy, born from the fact that it excuses men from - well, civilisation - for the duration of the summer months, and very often, at the busiest times of the day (tea time, kids bath time etc). I wonder what would happen if women were to suddenly find a sport or an interest that occupied them - by law - for several weeks, thus excusing them from, well, life, and giving us a reason to crack open the cold beer (other than kids) during the day. Somehow I don't think that there would be as much jovial faces as there is during a world
Its no our fault the kick off times are the busy times. We men can never get a wee bit of fitba time without getting our heads nipped. All we ask is a wee bit of silence when the fitbas on.(Hope the wife disna read this)

I'm backHi hi everyone... Frankie - cheers fur huddin' the fort byraway. What wid a dae withoot ye? Want a joab? Well, I have been as sick as a dug. It got to the point where aw diginity just went ootrawindae and I prepared masel for well, dying to be honest. Dunno what it is about chronic vomitting (and aw it's pals....), but once you've done it like, all day, and have not a jot left in your system to vomit with, your body kind of just gives up. Hot sweats, cold sweats, throw in a migraine and voila!! You have hell, in the comfort of your own bathroom.

I'm tentatively nibbling at food now. Don't get me wrong - I'm fecking starving - but I'm in one of those fussy moods where I really really want something but don't know what. And even if I did know what I wanted, we probably wouldn't have it in the house anyway. Hey ho, I'll sip ma water and be thankful that I'm alive. Aye right. I remember being this ill once before. Twas about a year and a half ago. Got so bad, I ended up in hospital with suspected meningitis. Turns out it wisnae meningitis at all - I was pregnant.

Hope you are all well - I've missed ye's - and hopefully catch ye's later!

Holy MolyHi hi guests - all 19 of you - I hope you ain't hiding behind your anonymity and laughing at my unfortunate illness of the past few days... Whilst I am extremely flattered that 19 of you have decided to tune into the forum - (it's Friday night byraway - why ye's no oot on the lash?) - why don't you join? That way, not only can you get a laugh at my expense, but by joining, that allows you to point and laugh too.

OK, well, not quite, but as close tae laughing and pointing as yer ever gonnae get.

VomitOh so dae I Frankie - I had no idea so much could come from one body - even although I hadn't eaten a crumb. It baffles the brain so it does. However, I have to say though, I always seem to look refreshed and altogether no that bad after I've had a guid bout of sickness. Odd.
