A FORMER policeman who claimed he was a black magic high priest was yesterday convicted of sexually abusing three youngsters.

John McFadden told one of his victims - a 12-year-old boy - that demons and spirits would kill him and his parents and drag them to hell unless he carried out vile sex acts.

McFadden dressed in a black cloak and used a crucifix with a skull and crossbones and an onyx ring, which he claimed gave him power, to terrify the youngster into keeping quiet.

He took blood and hair from the boy, now aged 32, and burned them in a bowl to initiate him into "the circle".

The former marine told the High Court in Glasgow that McFadden abused him almost every day for four years.

Yesterday McFadden, 42, of Bearsden, near Glasgow, was found guilty of using lewd and indecent behaviour towards him at a house in Kirkintilloch between 1988 and 1990 and sexually assaulting him on several occasions between August 1990 and 1992.

He was also convicted of using similar behaviour towards two other youngsters on various dates between 1983 and 1990.

The former squaddie - a father of one - told the court that McFadden befriended him after he joined a martial arts club run by him.

The abuse began when McFadden - who still lived with his parents - invited him to stay overnight.

The victim said: "He described himself as a high priest with this black magic circle. He said he could have out-of-body experiences and could talk to demons and spirits.

"One day he said he was going to initiate me into the circle and this became the main driver for my silence.

"He had a cast-iron bowl and he pricked my finger and put some blood in it, then he took some of my hair..then it all had to be burned.

"I had to be naked and he had to be naked with this black cloak over him. I was thinking 'this isn't right' but I was told that if I was to speak out me and my mum and dad would be killed and sent to hell. I was terrified. I basically went home and just cried."

The abuse came to an end when the man joined the Royal Marines and moved away.

Another man came forward in 1999 to complain that he had been indecently assaulted by McFadden at the age of seven.

McFadden resigned from the police but was only charged several years later after two others came forward to report abuse.

Cops who searched the beast's house found a devil mask and two wands.

Although he claimed his victims were making up the abuse, a jury refused to believe him.

Judge Lord Matthews deferred sentence until next month.

Girl sues perv ex-cop for ruining her life

Sex abuse victim in fight for compo

A SCHOOLGIRL sexually abused at the age of seven is to sue the paedophile ex-cop who attacked her — for ruining her life.

The youngster was left suffering mental illness after being targeted by twisted Douglas Alexander, now 76, six years ago.

The pervert served just nine months for the sickening crime.

But the girl — registered disabled as a result of her ordeal — has now been granted legal aid to launch a civil action to try and win compensation.

Last night her mum, from Lanarkshire, said: “My daughter is determined he should never forget what he put her through and what this has done to her.

“She is just a young girl, but I am very proud of her for taking this stand.”

Depraved Alexander, of Rutherglen, Glasgow, was jailed in 2009 after admitting abusing the girl at his home, between 2005 and 2006, in a warped letter to her family.

In the late 1960s there was an inquiry into underage sex taking place in the Top of the Pops changing rooms, according to the show's then producer. Police reportedly interviewed BBC staff but did not pursue a case.

There was an allegation in 1971 that the late TV host was involved with a 15-year-old dancer on Top of the Pops, who committed suicide.

And there were claims Savile was abusing patients at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in the late 1970s, allegations which were reported to police but there was not enough evidence to proceed.

A senior member of staff at the BBC revealed he questioned Savile, pictured, over rumours about his private life more than 20 years ago

Seriously King street in Ayr are needing to re-think I think its a bit perverse of them to hold women in a cell with a huge window in it that has full view of the cell and toilet especially when the room on the other side of the cell is a locker room with males going in and out having a good look years ago but hopefully they have sorted this out??? I dont want to see your bits and you sure as hell aint seeing mine

Strathclyde Police sacked Andrew Cusick for gross misconduct and breach of trust for contacting his twin, Martin.

Cusick, 56, worked as a civilian training officer after retiring from the force after 30 years of service.

In 2005 his twin Martin Cusick, also a former police officer, left his Clarkston home and disappeared. The convicted sex offender was legally required to tell police of any change of address.

An investigation was launched to find out the whereabouts of Cusick, who was jailed for five years in 1996 for sexually abusing three children aged between six and 12.

Sex case accused former police officer James Ainsworth attacked near court

High Court in Glasgow

Ainsworth was attacked outside the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday

A former police officer accused of sex abuse dating back to the 1960s has been attacked and badly injured during a break in his trial.
Paramedics performed CPR as they battled to save James Ainsworth's life following the incident outside the High Court in Glasgow on Wednesday.
The 61-year-old, from Largs, North Ayrshire, is in a critical condition in the city's Southern General Hospital.
A 31-year-old man is in police custody in connection with the incident.
Judge concern
The jury in Mr Ainsworth's trial was discharged after Judge Lady Scott said he had to be taken to hospital for an "emergency admission".
The judge added: "This may come as a shock and I hope you do not find it too distressing."

Prosecutors can re-raise proceedings against Mr Ainsworth should he be fit to return to the dock in the future.
Prior to jurors returning, Lady Scott said the events were a "matter of concern for the court".
She earlier stated "security issues might arise" after what took place.
On Thursday she told the court: "I will want to see a full inquiry and a report into what is happening."
Lady Scott said the matter has also been referred to one of Scotland's top judges - the Lord Justice General - who also awaits the outcome of a probe.
Mr Ainsworth was on trial accused of a string of offences against a number of individuals dating back to the 1960s.
The case began on Monday and testimony was heard from several witnesses.
The attack is said to have taken place during the lunchtime adjournment on Wednesday.
'Bad way'
Police initially attended to Mr Ainsworth, who was lying on the ground just yards from the front door of the high court.
A man - thought to be the attacker - was meantime escorted back into the building by two officers.
An ambulance soon arrived on the scene while the area - close to Glasgow Green - was taped off.
One eye-witness said: "Almost every court police officer was on the scene when it became apparent what was happening.
"The man on the pavement was not moving and was clearly in a very bad way. There were also items scattered nearby.
"Paramedics treated him on the street for around 30 minutes including giving him CPR. Another man - who could have been a witness to it all - was also doing what he could to help.
"CID officers were also soon on the scene. It is just is not something you expect to see outside a court building in broad daylight."
Remains unconscious
It is not thought any weapon was used in the attack.
Reporting of the incident had been banned for 24 hours while a decision was made what to do with the case against Mr Ainsworth.
Prosecutor Kath Harper moved to halt the trial on Thursday, stating it "seemed unlikely" that Mr Ainsworth would be fit to attend court "in the near future at all".
Ms Harper also said: "Mr Ainsworth is in intensive care at the Southern General. His injuries are life threatening and he remains unconscious.
"He was put into a medically-induced coma. Sedation was lifted and doctors are awaiting a reaction.
"Medical staff are unable to give any prediction for recovery."

Police officers among six held over sex claims

By a County Press reporter

Thursday, December 11, 2014

POLICE have arrested six men including three serving police officers on suspicion of conspiracy to commit serious sexual offences on the Isle of Wight.

The arrests, which took place this morning (Thursday), follow recent information reported by the alleged victim who is a member of the public.

The information relates to incidents alleged to have taken place during 2014.

The investigation was on-going as the County Press went to press.

Hampshire Constabulary’s IW District Commander, Superintendent Julie Fry, said: "A key part of maintaining public trust and confidence is fulfilling our responsibility to investigate fully any allegation, irrespective of those involved.

"Specialist officers are providing care and support to the victim and we would ask the public and the media to respect the welfare of everyone affected at this early stage of the investigation."

The Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, Robin Jarman, said:

"The allegations made against officers from Hampshire Constabulary are extremely alarming. The Police and Crime Commissioner will look to the Constabulary to ensure that these accusations are taken very seriously and that a full and thorough investigation is conducted.

"Residents of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight should be reassured that allegations of this nature are extremely rare and do not reflect the high standards delivered by the vast majority of constabulary employees."
